[Vietnam Phu Quoc] Record of Day 2 of 3 Nights and 5 Days Trip
Start of the Morning
Almost all the videos were shot with a wide-angle lens, which might be a bit dizzying. Haha.
Shot with a Galaxy S21 Ultra.
I woke up around 7:30 for breakfast!
I couldn’t just upload one picture…
(As soon as you exit the elevator on the right side of the reception, go straight out, and it’s immediately on the left.)
I just threw on my resort slippers and headed out!
They also fry eggs on demand, allowing you to choose between fully cooked or half-cooked. If you opt for a brunch feel, they’ll prepare it for you, but I didn’t try that.
I took a picture while eating, so it looks a bit empty…
If you watch the video, you can see there was much more food!
It’s beautiful…………
But since I planned to go to the waterpark in the afternoon, I didn’t go in.
Even though it was early morning, there were already a few people swimming.
And right in front is the crazy beach…
Hello to you too.
On the second day, I planned to go to Vin Wonders (the waterpark).
Since there’s a fountain show from 7 PM for 20 minutes at Vin Wonders,
I figured to wander around Grand World for lunch and then head to the waterpark at 3 PM with the shuttle.
Just so you know, Vin Wonders has both a waterpark and an amusement park, so plan your time wisely!
I thought it was just a waterpark and ended up not riding any rides.
Morning to lunch at the waterpark, afternoon at the amusement park, and evening for the fountain show makes for a perfect day!
Taking the elevator down…
If you arrive at the designated time, the green bus will be waiting in front of the main entrance, and you can just hop on!

Stopped by a cafe for a drink.
The sun was incredibly hot!
The apple juice was incredibly delicious.
It truly tasted like sweet apple juice from fresh fruit.
The iced tea was also incredibly rich and tasty, almost like thin rice porridge! Hahaha.
I also wanted to get my nails done in Vietnam,
and I was wondering where to get a massage today, and since it was a place where both were available, I decided to go here, haha.
But it turned out he was the owner. I settled up with him when I was leaving…
No wonder it was around 11:30 AM and he said the opening time was from 1 PM.
Because of our scheduling, we couldn’t make it by 1 PM,
but after a quick phone call, he opened at 12 PM for us… haha.
I couldn’t get a picture of the sign, but it has a very fresh green vibe,
and you have to take off your shoes to enter!
While sitting and waiting, they served me tea, which was super hot, and I could only take a sip.
But before I could even choose what to do, they immediately took me to the foot bath…
Without saying anything, they started the massage right away…
I called the manager and struggled to communicate in English, haha.
We’ll have a 90-minute aroma massage…
Once seated in the massage area, I could see the nail area right next to me, but the color choices were limited, so I thought I wouldn’t get it done here and only received the massage.
The person assigned to me had really tiny hands,
and when they started massaging with those small hands, it was adorable.
It was surprisingly refreshing and not painful, so I ended up dozing off for over an hour… haha.
But still… Whale Spa is the best!
On my way to eat!
(Even here, Lotteria has infiltrated, haha.)
They guided me to a cool spot right in front of the air conditioning.
The owner spoke Korean well and was very friendly…
The font used in the menu was kind of annoying, haha.
There were two menus—one for Korean dishes and one for local food—so we ordered one from each.
All the side dishes were really tasty, haha. (The napa cabbage kimchi had a slightly different flavor, somewhere between fresh and fried kimchi.)
The fried rice tasted similar to what I’ve eaten in Korea (and it was tasty).
The kimchi stew was extremely delicious…
It wasn’t just because it’s Korean food; it felt like the kimchi stew had been simmering for a while,
so the depth of flavor was remarkable…
Kimchi stew really shines when simmered for a long time.
This is what they call a downpour in Southeast Asia.
Can you see it?
By the time we finished eating, the rain had almost stopped.
There were almost no cars, so we hurriedly took some pictures, haha.
To catch the afternoon Vin Wonders shuttle, I took the shuttle back to the resort…
After taking a break at the accommodation (while taking selfies), haha…
Go straight to the end of this road (the entrance in front of the castle), turn left, and you’ll see the entrance marked as 2 on the map (it’s very close).
As you go further in, you’ll find simple snacks being sold.
They also sell swimwear.
Going a little further, there’s a locker room and dressing room with cubicles where you can also take a shower.
(It’s quite spacious.)
Once you change into your swimsuit, head to the locker desk to drop off your belongings.
U.S. dollars can’t be used here, so you must bring Vietnamese dong!
(You can exchange money at the ticket office outside Vin Wonders.)
I didn’t see the warnings and went in wearing sandals, but you’re not supposed to wear shoes inside, haha…
Although they don’t strictly enforce it, you must take them off when using the slides! Plus, no hats allowed either.
There’s nowhere to store them, so just leave them at the locker before waiting in line.
There’s no way I could attempt that…
Instead, I went on the four-color slide on the right, where you lay on a blue mat and go down, but only those over 60 kg can ride it, so I couldn’t go…
No wonder it was just guys riding it.
Instead, I went on the tube slide next to it.
The photo shows me coming down, haha.
(Tubes are piled up at the slide entrance, so you grab one there.
You can’t take one from elsewhere!)
You can’t take a tube from another place; they prevent you from taking it.
I went on another slide that allows 50 kg and up, so I quickly picked up a tube and went up, haha.
Even at the top, they weigh you on a scale to check.
However, I wasn’t heavy enough to gain enough speed,
and I slowly came to a stop in the middle ㅜㅜ;;;;; what a bummer.
As I hemmed and hawed, worried whether I would roll down, a staff member came sliding down behind me and pushed me along! ㅠㅠ
As soon as I saw their face, I shouted, “Let’s go!” ㅜㅋㅋㅋㅋ
After a tough ride, that last slope was genuinely terrifying and exciting, haha.
I automatically shot off like a dolphin…
It was so fun that I wanted to go again, but the fear of stopping kept me from getting on another ride.
Here’s a stamp taken at the entrance.
Only one of my party members can leave at a time.
I bought two cute decorative plates.
(Light blue arrow)
The visuals were completely different… and the taste was not good……..sigh.
The Tiger draft beer was the best, haha.
If you go, please don’t order what I had. Please!
People were seating themselves to watch the fountain show, so I decided to sit with them instead of exploring more, haha.
(I took this photo and while I was looking at it, a local saw it and said it was good ㅎ~~~)
There was a bit of a story, and even without understanding the words, you could mostly figure out what was happening…
It seemed like a story about an inexperienced warrior growing and defeating a witch…
They actually lit a fire, and the heat was unbelievably intense, haha.
Later, I got up a bit earlier because I was worried about not catching the shuttle in time,
but even from a distance near the entrance, I could still feel the heat.
Just try watching the third video of the show… it’s amazing.
This is more of a record than information; if you have any questions, please leave a comment, and I’ll respond to them 😊
