Today, I visited a dessert cafe in Suwon Geumgok-dong.

This is the only independent cafe I’ve settled on in the Hoemasil neighborhood, excluding large franchise cafes. The desserts are so delicious that I often crave them!

Here’s proof from 4 years ago…! I visited again recently ㅎㅎ

The entrance is at the back of the building, but you can also enter through a side door from inside the building. It’s the door used when going to the restroom.

There’s also an outdoor terrace seating area, so it’s nice to sit outside when the weather is good!

Cafe Tears Menu

Suwon roasting Cafe Tears has many unique coffee menu items. There are many coffees with unusual names. Every time I visit, I’m curious and try a new coffee. It’s only natural to try the signature menu if there is one! Now that I look at it, I’m really curious about the coffee whiskey called ‘악마와 키스를…?’ 😍 It’s even the owner’s pick! I must come back to try it next time.

As expected from a dessert cafe in Hoemasil, despite its small size, there were quite a few dessert options. Of course, since it was late, I only ordered two simple items ^^ㅋ

While waiting after ordering, I took some photos. The interior is white, so it’s great for taking pictures in front of the full-length mirror. Even though I went on a weekday evening, there were quite a few customers, so I couldn’t take proper photos and just snapped a few quickly ㅋ

First, the signature coffee, Cream Mocha!! Isn’t the visual so pretty? ㅎㅎ I mixed it with the spoon provided and drank it. The chocolate flavor is very rich and sweet. Highly recommended if you like chocolate with over 72% cacao!

For dessert, I had the Basque Cheesecake and the Pig Bar Tteok Cookie. What can I say about the Basque Cheesecake? It’s just delicious… They bring it straight from the fridge, and it’s slightly frosty, cool, and moist. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s my number 1 must-eat dessert here!!!! If you go late, it sells out, and you can’t even get it. I’ve told everyone around me about it, really, really.

The Pig Bar Tteok Cookie had a strong cookie flavor because I like the Pig Bar Crunch, and the chewy texture from the jam and mochi in the center made it very addictive 😁👍 It wasn’t dry, so it was perfect even for me, who doesn’t snack much. It would be even more delicious with an iced Americano!
