Graz Station
Arrived at Graz Station after about 5 and a half hours from Budapest!
Graz is not a very popular tourist destination, but it’s not a small city, so I decided to come.
I was considering Prague in the Czech Republic, but I thought the itinerary would be too packed, so I chose Graz instead 😊

Walking to the accommodation
There was a nightclub right next to the accommodation..?
After searching, I found that it was probably just a bar, but it felt a bit scary to go out at night, so I decided to stay in, haha.
Here’s a touching shot of the accommodation.
Among the four accommodations, this was the most spacious and beautiful, but it was a bit cold because the heating didn’t work well, haha.
As soon as I went out for a late lunch, every path I walked was beautiful.
The quiet small-town vibe moved me… 😭💓
Scratch
Very satisfying meal.
It was the best food I’ve had during the trip (even better than the lamb steak…)
The staff was very friendly!
While walking, I encountered a bridge with locks reminiscent of Namsan Tower.
(For the photo) I wanted to hang one, but I just pretended to do so, haha.
Visited the art museum that my mom wanted to go to!!
It’s not specifically the Graz Art Museum, just a random one, haha.
Although my understanding of the artworks is lacking, I did my best to appreciate them, haha.
Now it’s my turn to visit Schlossberg, which I wanted to go to.
It was difficult to take pictures because there were so many people around, haha.
The clock tower can be seen at the top of those stairs!
There was a lift to easily go up, but it was paid, so I decided to take the stairs.
Although it wasn’t that expensive, I wanted to exercise and enjoy the view~
When I reached the top of the stairs, there was the magnificent clock tower, gardens, and an incredible view…
It was disappointing that the bright sunlight didn’t allow the scenery I saw to be captured well. 😭
Schlossberg
This was just the end of the stairs, not the actual hilltop?
I decided to go all the way to the top.
Seeing kids rolling around in the fields reminded me of a scene from a movie.
This place also had a view that didn’t quite make it into the photos, which was sad.
Sitting on an outdoor café terrace with a ginger ale made me very happy.
After running around Budapest, coming to Graz felt like a healing experience.
Of course, there was a bit of hiking involved, haha.
Romantic buskers and a true picturesque scene.
All the buildings had red roofs, which was fascinating; apparently, they were all built a long time ago (or so I’ve heard).
After descending, I headed to the Old Town (which is the area with shopping streets) because I heard there was a delicious Asian food stand.
There seemed to be some kind of event happening in the square, but I’m not really sure what it was…
Anyhow, there were many stands, but since it was around 5 PM, not many shops were open.
Fortunately, amidst it all, there was an Asian food stall, haha.
Got a takeout food that was similar to chicken gangjeong!
On the way back to the accommodation, I saw an unmanned vending machine.
It seems you purchase from the kiosk in the center, and it dispenses.
I was glad to see spicy chicken too, haha.
Graz Accommodation
While having dinner, I booked the next train journey!
I used the Omio app, but it was really frustrating because the prices kept increasing over time. Hahaha.
As the available seats became fewer, the prices were going up, and it was so annoying that what I just looked at had increased. When I searched with another account, the prices were different, ㅡㅡ.
The app felt like a scam, so I decided to buy tickets directly from a ticket machine at the station the next day.
Second day brunch in Graz.
The sandwiches looked too heavy, so I ordered just some bread and coffee.
Not knowing the name, I ended up buying two breads with jam (I only like strawberry jam).
Isn’t this magnet funny? Haha.
Photo Title: I wanted to take a picture with the tram too.
While exploring the shopping town, I discovered something.
I was surprised to find out Hugo is an expensive brand, haha.
All the brands there were beautiful, but they were all so expensive that I couldn’t buy anything.
And this wallet caught my eye, and I took a picture to buy later.
Spoiler: I ended up buying it at the Vienna store.
More details in the upcoming Vienna travel post…
And the train tickets that made us frustrated the other day.
Got them at Graz Station!!
The price was similar to what I saw on the app after some time had passed ^^
Everyone, please book your train tickets in advance…
After returning to the accommodation, I stopped by Villa Plus to buy wine and some snacks!
And also grabbed a kebab to fill my stomach!
This place had a great rating but was in the process of expanding, haha.
But it was really delicious…
It was like a heartier version of Subway.
This is a view of our accommodation’s terrace from outside, haha.
It’s a structure that seems impossible to find in Korea, making it more romantic…
But in reality, it was too cold to go out and do anything, haha.
Finally opening the Tokaji wine I bought in Budapest!!!!
The cheese and fruits were just extras…
I regretted only buying one bottle because it was so good.
If someone goes to Budapest again, I’ll definitely ask them to get it for me. 🙏
And I really enjoyed the kebab I had.
Even eating half of it made me full, but it was so good that I ended up finishing it all, haha.
And on the third day, it’s time to head to Salzburg! (Quick turnaround)
It was really inconvenient to place our luggage on the ceiling in the train, but putting it in the space between the seats worked out great!!!!!!!
