It’s been so long since I’ve been to Incheon Airport… My flight was in the evening, so I arrived around 4 PM!

After checking in, I came to the lounge and had a simple meal.

The flight is about 5 hours long, so I had a beer to help me sleep well. ㅎ

The lighting was really pretty, but the camera couldn’t focus…

The stars were also visible and beautiful.

Kota Kinabalu International Airport

The flight was so tiring due to the delay ㅠ

We had to wait over an hour longer than expected…

We arrived around 1 or 1:30 AM, but there was another wait because so many people were waiting…

The downside of a package tour… waiting…

Grandis Hotel

We arrived at Grandis Hotel, about a 15-20 minute bus ride from the airport.

We checked in almost at 3 AM 😂

We plan to stay here for all 3 nights in Kota Kinabalu.

The room was quite spacious, which was nice.

I was so tired that I just glanced at the night view and quickly went to sleep…

I went to have breakfast early before the morning meeting,

but there wasn’t much to eat. Is that why there are no photos of my plate?

I really missed the pho I had for breakfast in Phu Quoc ㅜ

Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu

We headed to the jetty for our first tour, the Island Hopping Tour!

We took a yacht together from the jetty located behind the Hyatt Centric Hotel, across from Grandis Hotel.

The view, with the palm trees, seems to be a beautiful hotel.

The lounge view is also nice at night, perfect for a cocktail🍸

Sea urchins were visible even with the naked eye ㄷㄷ

The water was so clear that I was really looking forward to snorkeling!

Got our tickets and boarded the yacht!!

ㅋㅋㅋㅋ The yacht was surprisingly fast and cool, and I was so excited…

It was fun, like riding a roller coaster.

Arrived at Mamuutik Island!

First, we went to our team’s designated seats and listened to the tour explanation.

You can choose basic snorkeling or individual paid marine sports.

Including mealtime, we had about 4 hours.

We decided to do only parasailing!

They take us in pairs, 2 people per boat, and we take turns.

We can’t leave until everyone has had a turn ㅋ

But riding the boat was fun, so the waiting time wasn’t boring.

It went higher than I expected (even higher than in the photos).

It was a bit scary, but the wind was cool and it was so much fun, I felt great.

It was so good, but my vocabulary is lacking ㅜ

They kept dropping us into the sea, so we were both holding our noses ㅋㅋㅋ

The first time I fell in, I screamed “Aaaah!” and opened my mouth, but the seawater was so salty.

After that, I covered my eyes, nose, and mouth ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Lunch was a local seafood BBQ buffet, but honestly, the taste…

I decided I needed to eat something delicious for dinner.

After eating, it was time to digest, so back to snorkeling!!

And I got bitten by a fish.

My mom also got bitten and bled, but thankfully I didn’t bleed…

As I was walking, I suddenly felt a sting! and I yelled, “Aaaack!!!! I got bitten too!!!!!!” 🤣💥💥💥

After a lot of water play, we headed back…

We stopped by the mart right after returning without even washing up ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I heard many people buy souvenirs here.

I bought 1 mango jelly, 1 coconut jelly, and 2 kaya jams.

(I came back later and bought more ㅎ)

Suria Sabah is a large shopping mall attached to the same building as Grandis Hotel?

A plaza? Anyway, it’s a shopping center. After going back to the hotel to wash up,

I went to look around and find a place for a massage.

It was on the 3rd or 4th floor.

The massage was just okay.

But both masseuses kept burping as soon as they came in;;;

It was unpleasant at first, but then for the 60 or 90 minutes of massage,

there were two people who burped every 5 seconds;;;

Later, it was so funny that I had to hold back my laughterㅋ;;; (It wasn’t really funny though)

After the massage, I wanted to have dinner.

It was too hot and I was too lazy to go far, so I chose a restaurant in the shopping center.

But nothing on the menu appealed to me… I went to a place called Chicken Rice Shop,

and saw wonton noodles on the menu outside, so I thought, “Ah, this is it!” and went in.

It seems like there are many chicken restaurants because it’s an Islamic country?

But they said they didn’t have the dishes I wanted…

So I just ordered something that looked like chicken soup.

My mom ordered what looked like a plain grilled chicken leg…

The taste was… it was edible.

It wasn’t something I’d want to eat again, so I decided to go to KFC tomorrow…

There’s a convenience store called Orange Something on the B1 floor.

I bought some snacks and beer here and went back to my room.

But I was so tired when I got in that I couldn’t even drink it and passed out immediately ㅎ
