Is it just me, or is the proportion of my own photos increasing as I write more travel posts?

More train

I bought some snacks because I was bored during the long journey, but they were ridiculously expensive. 🤔

Arrived at Salzburg Station!

I also pre-booked my train ticket to Hallstatt for the next day.

Just in case I get confused with the app again like when I came from Graz to Salzburg ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Since the bus is a period ticket, I only purchased the REX train ticket that requires a transfer!

The accommodation where I’ll be staying for 2 nights in Salzburg

It’s so pretty from the outside 😊✨

The interior is also pretty, but it was too small.

Like a standard hotel room?

Hibiscus, a Korean restaurant near the accommodation.

I arrived just before 5 PM, having wandered around the city during their break time, but there were already people queuing…

Seeing quite a few foreigners besides Koreans, I felt reassured that it must be a good restaurant.

And it really is a good restaurant ㅋ

After eating, I went to Mirabell Palace and Gardens, which is nearby, for a walk.

It was spacious, green, and very beautiful.

Unlike Korea, it’s nice that it’s not crowded with people.

I liked the uniquely shaped tree.

But wearing my hip bag inside my clothes made my stomach stick out.

Everyone seems to really like hanging locks.

Mozart’s Birthplace, which was less impressive than I expected.

I don’t know if you can go inside… but apart from the “Mozart” written on the outer wall, it’s not much different from other buildings ㅋ

The first floor is even a supermarket;; ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Starbucks with a lot of desserts in Salzburg

I stopped by to buy a cup for a friend.

The desserts here are definitely a bit different from Korean Starbucks?

I thought about buying one as a gift, but it was too expensive, so I passed. ㅎ

Manner, a famous souvenir shop for snacks.

People apparently buy a lot when they travel to Austria.

I don’t like wafer-like snacks, so I only bought a few for gifts.

But I wanted to buy the merchandise here more than the snacks…

I should have bought them… 😢

The tourist spots were quiet because I arrived late (by European standards).

Mozart Square was under construction, so there were barricades (I took the photo so they wouldn’t be visible), and there weren’t many people.

The souvenir shop where I went to buy magnets closed early, so I just looked around the city.

The mannequins are all stylish~

It wouldn’t be right not to have a drink, so I had a Moscow Mule.

They definitely put more alcohol in it than in Korea 😵🍸

The next morning, on the way to Hallstatt!

I moved to Salzburg Station to take bus 150, but it turned out I could have taken it directly from the stop in front of my accommodation ㅎ

I waited at the stop marked with 150 and got on with my pre-booked bus ticket!

I have to transfer to a train at Bad Ischl.

I want to upload more photos, but I held back.

There aren’t many well-taken photos because of the reflections on the bus window ㅜㅜ

The scenery is hard to take in even with my eyes.

The more I see it, the more I think how nice it would have been if Korea were just a bit wider ㅋ

Bad Ischl Station has two platforms, so I was wondering which one to take… I hesitated and then, by eavesdropping on other travelers, decided to follow them ㅋㅋ

Most of them were going to Hallstatt 😏

Arrived at Hallstatt Station!

Surprisingly, this station has only one platform for both directions (I was confused when returning).

How does it even operate…?

There’s only one path, so if you follow it down, you’ll reach the ferry terminal, where you can buy tickets and board!

It was 7 euros per person for a round trip.

The snow-capped mountains in the distance were truly artistic.

The sunlight was so bright it was hard to open my eyes.

I’m trying hard not to squint.

Arrived in Hallstatt!

The return ferry can be taken at any time, so I took a photo of the timetable.

It was posted right after I got off.

Let’s go to the Skywalk first!!!

There’s a reason why the Skywalk is a separate spot.

What would I have done if I hadn’t come to Hallstatt?

Dinner at a restaurant with a great view.

The grilled fish was shockingly bad.

It tasted like freshwater fish caught in Hallstatt Lake.

The fishy smell was legendary! Only the view was good.

My gorilla rabbit, bought in Rome, is here too…

The price is the same, so I felt relieved ㅋ

And the famous Salt Mine in Hallstatt.

We didn’t have enough time for the mine tour, so we decided to buy round-trip lift tickets only.

There was a souvenir shop on the path to the lift, where you could also sample salt.

Small quantities are available for purchase, so it would be good for gifts!

The lift was very high and scary.

The speed was surprisingly fast;;

Of course, it’s 840m.

The view is just insane.

It was pretty from below, but even more magnificent from up here.

The end looks a bit precarious, but it’s sturdy.

It’s a little scary ㅋ

As it was time to leave, I bought a visually stunning pastry on the way back, and the cream was amazing.

Highly recommended as a snack!

I only saw this when I was about to leave… ;;;

I’m looking at my phone because I’m getting bored (I wanted to rest quickly).

I’m so tired.

Back at Bad Ischl Station, on the way to Salzburg again.

You take the bus from the E bus stop here.

Completely exhausted.

Heh!!!! It wouldn’t be right not to have another drink.

The beer was so delicious because I walked a lot that day 🍻👍👍
