Review of Prater Dome

This trip, I visited the largest club located in Austria Vienna.

Here’s my review of Prater Dome!!!!!

As those who have already looked it up may know, the Prater Dome club is located inside an amusement park called Prater.

The above photos show the entrance to the amusement park and the club entrance.

Prater Dome opens at 10 PM, and I arrived right on time, but there was a line! (Open only on Fridays and Saturdays)

I went with my mom, worried that it might be just young people, but there were older gentlemen and grandpas among the clubbers already waiting, so I felt relieved. Haha.

Upon entering through the entrance, you pay the admission fee at the counter (14 euros per person).

The above photo shows the receipt and card received after entering, and further inside is the luggage storage area.

We didn’t have any luggage to store, so I’m not sure how much it costs. Haha.

After passing the storage area, you immediately see the bar and tables.

This is like the central hall, but it’s a separate relaxation space from the stage where music plays, so you can sit anywhere freely.

I hesitated to sit down for a while, worried it might be reserved. Haha.

By the way, although the club opens at 10 PM, the stage opens at 10:30 PM, so everyone is having a drink at the bar and enjoying a relaxed atmosphere!

Prater Dome is a non-smoking club, but there is a cigarette vending machine.

A designated smoking area terrace is available, and the photo will appear below.

I also went to the restroom, and I was surprised to find that one of the stalls had two toilets in one…? Haha.

The women’s restroom was quite spacious and clean.

This might be because it was just opening. Haha.

In a corner of the central hall, they sell simple food, so you can fill your stomach…

We didn’t have much to do until the stage opened, so we ordered cocktails.

When checking the card we received upon entry, I realized that instead of paying directly, it’s settled through this card like in a sauna!

You return the card when leaving and settle the payment. 👍

I ordered my favorite cocktail, the White Russian, and my mom ordered the cocktail of the day, the Blue Lady gin.

There wasn’t a separate cocktail menu, so I hesitated and just said the names of the cocktails I like, and they made them right away.

It seems they can make almost any cocktail you ask for?

Using a similar machine, they also show the cocktail prices (22 euros for both drinks, about 11 euros each).

When you receive the entry card, they ask if you want to leave a tip, and you can touch the screen to decide how much to give.

I spent a total of 25 euros, including a 3-euro tip.

We sat anywhere and had a drink. 😎

After the stage opened, I quickly took some photos before the crowd filled in.

On the first floor, there are two stages where songs with a disco vibe play.

It feels like a mix of disco and old-school disco. Haha.

On that blue stage, a DJ comes to mix live when the time comes (photo below).

This is the smoking area terrace, which is also on the second floor.

This is the hip-hop stage located on the second floor.

This place had the most young people, and I liked the music here the most. Haha.

As soon as you enter, you can go up the right staircase, and all the staircases are connected, so it’s easy to find!

While wandering around taking photos, a clubber asked to take a photo together.

I used the basic camera to avoid surprising the foreigner, but I regret that. Haha.

This is what I mentioned earlier about DJ time.

Since the DJ, music, and events change every time, it would be good to check the Prater Dome website before you go!

You can also reserve tables on the website, and the few tables I clicked on were between 140 and 1200 euros.

Since I didn’t click on all of them, there might be cheaper or more expensive tables?

I also shot a few videos, but it was a bit disappointing to play when there were fewer people. 😭

But I had enough fun and wished I had gone for another day…

If you all visit, go on a Friday to check out the atmosphere, and if you enjoy it, come back on Saturday……………

I went home just before midnight to manage my condition since it was the day before my departure, but I still had fun.

I only saw one team of Koreans, but since I saw them when I was leaving, I’m not sure how it is during the peak hours! 😭
