I wrote for two days because I arrived on the first evening, so I failed to manage the length!

It’s getting more and more sloppy, and I didn’t stick to quite a few things lol.

An airport I always enjoy!

The movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” which is many people’s favorite movie.

I watched it thinking, “What is this code…?” but after watching for a little over an hour, I gave up..

And being an experienced long-haul flyer, I can now manage my in-flight meals somewhat ㅎㅎ

This time, it was easily digestible, so I ate well!

My bangs were greasy by the time we were about to land.

After about 12 hours of flight, we arrived at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport and headed to Budapest our accommodation!

You could buy bus tickets at the bus ticket machine in front of the airport terminal. The left one is a vending machine where you can get your ticket.

It was my first time buying a ticket, so I struggled a lot.

★Tip★

Some vending machines don’t accept cards, so check before you start purchasing.

When paying by card, it takes quite a long time, and you have to enter your PIN on the card payment screen.

Not knowing the tip above, I kept wondering why the payment wasn’t going through… and ended up pressing the buttons on the very slow vending machine 4-5 times, which was very confusing right after arriving ㅎ.

Got off at the bus stop near our accommodation and took a photo!

I was in such a hurry to catch the bus at the airport that I couldn’t properly feel the European air, but I finally got to take a picture in front of the bus stop ㅎㅎ.

Wow, the accommodation is so pretty!

The elevator had a sliding door, which was so fascinating…

It was made of wood, so it was scary…

And the railing looked so unstable…!!!!!!!

And I was very satisfied with the accommodation 😆

St. Stephen’s Basilica was very close to our accommodation!

Although we arrived late at night, we went for a walk because we were sad, and the lights were beautifully lit.

It felt even prettier when seen from afar through the alleys 🥰

A club nearby lol.

But looking at Google Maps, it seemed like a strip club, so I didn’t go in.

They were actively soliciting customers at the massage parlor, so I took a look, but the prices were insane.

End of walk~!

The next morning, we had nurungji (scorched rice) and stir-fried kimchi.

The view from the scary railing looked even scarier in the daylight.

The first tourist destination we visited was Vajdahunyad Castle.

We took the M1 subway to get there, and since we bought a time-based travel card through an app, we didn’t need to punch it separately!

The time-based ticket is super convenient ㅎㅎ.

It’s famous for being the motif for Dracula’s castle, but the lake was dry, so there wasn’t much to see…

Maybe it’s because we didn’t tour the inside of the castle ㅎㅎ.

The castle entrance fee was about 10,000 won per person, and I wondered if it was really worth it~~~~~? Also, we had a lot of other things planned for the day, so we didn’t go in.

After looking around, we passed by Heroes’ Square on our way back to the station.

By the way, it was Hungary National Day (Revolutionary Memorial Day) that day, and all museums and art museums were free to enter.

We were going to visit the Budapest Art Museum right in front, but we gave up after seeing the extremely long line…

I think you need to come early in the morning to avoid long queues..

The schnitzel was so crispy and delicious ㅎㅎ.

The amazing New York Cafe with an amazing performance.

To see this with my own eyes!!!!!! 😇

The coffee tasted ordinary, but the photo spots were insane!

We gave up on the art museum and visited the Hungary National Museum instead!

There was also a very long line here, but we managed to get in without waiting long by standing in line smartly.

For your reference, you cannot take off your outerwear when entering! (You have to leave it in a locker or wear it the whole time).

There was so much to see that you could easily spend 3 hours here.

I took a lot of photos, but I’m only posting a few that I liked.

I especially liked the clothing and room decoration exhibits ㅎㅎ.

It was about a 30-minute walk from New York Cafe to our accommodation, so we walked.

My legs were already tired from walking so much, but… I was still fully immersed in the travel mood, so I could endure it ㅎ.

We saw street food and visited souvenir shops!

The feeling of St. Stephen’s Basilica during the day was different.

The night view is prettier lol.

After resting at the accommodation, we got ready to go out for dinner!

It was still cold, so I grabbed the scarf my mom packed 🤩.

(I wore it throughout the trip ㅎㅎ👍)

For dinner, we ate at a first-floor restaurant with a direct view of St. Stephen’s Basilica.

Every time we passed by, it was crowded, and the Google reviews were good, so we decided to go! We were satisfied with the restaurant because we had steak lol.

And the Budapest Ferris Wheel that we saw from the first day ㅎㅎ.

I’m scared of Ferris wheels, but I have to ride it since I’m on vacation!!

Wow, I always avoided Ferris wheels because they’re scary, but this was my first time riding one, and it was indeed terrifying;;;;;

The wind was blowing, and when we reached the very top and it started shaking, I thought my soul was leaving my body ㄷㄷㄷㄷ.

Finished the night view of Fisherman’s Bastion and the National Assembly Building ㅎㅎ.

We originally planned to walk, but since we overexerted ourselves during the day, we took the bus…

It was a very tiring day, but coming here was the best decision!

The night view is said to be so beautiful, but it really can’t be captured in photos.

Next time, I’ll definitely not buy an iPhone mini… 😂

On the way back to the accommodation after seeing the night view, I saw something else and looked it up, and it turned out to be Matthias Church.

I didn’t go inside, but I took a commemorative photo ㅎ.
