Palazzo San Giorgio

Palazzo San Giorgio, the first public palace in Genoa.

It was surprisingly located right in front of the passenger terminal.

The streets were empty in the early morning ㅎㅎ

Genoa Cathedral

The Genoa Cathedral, which is a short walk away, had beautiful details, so I took many pictures.

Photography was prohibited inside!

Genoa is famous for its focaccia…

They say many people eat it as a simple breakfast.

It’s a bread like this, and it was moist and delicious, not dry.

I don’t usually like bread, but I always eat one at breakfast or a hotel buffet ㅎ

I really wanted this handmade chessboard…

It was too expensive and seemed difficult to carry, so I passed! 😭

There were many people with colds due to the large temperature difference.

We also bought some medicine at a pharmacy in advance (they say it’s quite effective).

It was about 13 euros, which was quite expensive compared to Korea.

It was drizzling ambiguously, so I kept putting on and taking off my umbrella…

The sushi place behind it was quite eye-catching.

Our last lunch was at a Japanese restaurant.

Salmon salad

My mom doesn’t like salmon, so I ate it all, hehehehe.

The dressing seemed to have a soy sauce base, it was salty.

Assorted sushi!

I ate 2 servings of salmon here too ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

(So I was very full that day)

And warm udon.

This was also a bit salty for me.

Tempura!

I only tasted one each because I ate so much salmon earlier lol

The tempura tasted ordinary.

Endless food…

Watermelon came out for dessert, and it was quite sweet and delicious.

As we were about to leave after lunch, a dog refused to move from in front of a toy store and threw a tantrum lol

It was so cute lol

It was so hot and I was thirsty, so I went into the cafe right next door.

They probably sold bread and other food… (payment was after)

But I don’t usually drink caramel macchiatos.

I don’t know why I wanted one that day, but I ordered one and it was perfectly sweet and delicious…

There are an overwhelming number of people.

They were all luxury brand stores, so I didn’t go in ㅎ

Everything I took pictures of here looked cute, so I included a lot ㅋ

I bought some souvenirs too.

And I splurged at the Milan Zara I’d been waiting for!

A pizza place that looked delicious!!!!

But I was too full to eat it ㅠ

I had gelato one more time before leaving, but why are there no pictures 😭

On the way back, I got some kimbap to go from a kimbap place in Milan ㅋ

It was quite delicious, better than it looked ㅎㅎ

We finally arrived at the airport…

I was so sad. I had just started to get used to it…

My suitcase got scratched on the way there and back…

Unfortunately, this level of damage is not covered by compensation ㅋㅎ

I traveled for 9 nights with a 20-inch suitcase and still bought souvenirs…

How did I do that…

My first trip to Europe was a cruise, which raised my standards…

Next time, I’m going on a world cruise!
