Introduction to Kindi Climbing

A large indoor climbing gym of about 400 pyeong has opened near Suwon Station!

It’s Kindi Climbing!!

In fact, I visited during the opening event around last October

but kept postponing the post…

Since I visited again recently, I finally decided to write this post!

I thought it would be super crowded due to the opening event,

so I visited on a Friday afternoon!

As expected, it was quite crowded..

For reference, the daily pass for Kindi Climbing is 22,000 won, like The Climb,

but I was unemployed at the time, haha,

and since I thought I would come often, I bought a multi-visit pass right away.

Since it has a validity period of one year, I thought I would definitely come at least 5 times,

which makes it 18,000 won per visit.

Totally worth it~!!

As soon as you enter, you see the women’s changing room.

The lockers are huge..

There are also shower rooms!

There are hardly any climbing gyms in Suwon with shower facilities,

but since Kindi Climbing is such a large facility,

it was great that they had showers!

(I would have to wash up at home anyway, haha)

I think it’s the largest among the climbing gyms I’ve been to?

As soon as I entered, I was amazed by the overwhelming size

and took a panorama photo, haha.

But it didn’t turn out very well, haha.

There seems to be a kilter board and a moon board..?

I’ve never tried them, so I’m not sure what they are, haha.

But they have both types!!?

If you go a little further inside, there’s a ROCK sector,

and the cafeteria is opposite the slab wall.

When you go climbing, drinks are a must!!

Since it’s located between Suwon Station and Lotte Mall,

there aren’t many coffee shops I usually go to, right?!

(Like Mega Coffee or Compose Coffee..)

Maybe that’s why there’s an unmanned coffee machine!

Beverages and Amenities

Of course, there’s also a canned beverage vending machine.

The photo was taken during the opening, so there weren’t many drink options,

but when I visited recently, there was Monster too!!

I was worried there wouldn’t be any, so I stopped by a convenience store, but the prices were the same as at the convenience store,

so it seems fine to just buy and enjoy them at the climbing gym!

However, the downside is that the beverage storage areas are spaced out, making it hard to go get drinks often, haha.

Next to the storage area, there are also first-aid supplies, and I appreciated that there was a spray plaster!

Experience and Training Zone

No matter how many times I take pictures, the wall seems endless…..

In the far corner, there’s a single sofa? A bean bag, I found it very comfortable..

Special Holds

The transparent holds I saw for the first time at Kindi!!!

They say they have no friction, which is the worst..

I didn’t even get to touch them, haha.

Restroom Information

Lastly, the restrooms are located right in front of the entrance.

I’m not sure about the men’s restroom, haha.

Opening Event

Evidence of my participation in the opening event.. haha.

The highest score among the problems I solved was 452 points,

and I’m pretty sure it was a navy difficulty level at that time (but looking back, it was sky blue^^..)

When I visited recently, the sky blue was also super difficult.

Kindi seems really tough, haha.

But it’s so much fun……❤
