Introduction to Kindi Climbing

A large indoor climbing gym of about 400 pyeong has opened near Suwon Station!

It’s Kindi Climbing!!

Actually, it opened around October last year, and I visited during the opening event, but

I kept postponing the post until now…

Since I visited again recently, I finally decided to write this post!

I thought it would be super crowded due to the opening event, so

I visited on a Friday afternoon!

And indeed, it was crowded..

For reference, the daily pass for Kindi Climbing is 22,000 won, like The Climb, but

I was unemployed at the time, haha,

and since I thought I would come often, I bought a multi-visit pass right away.

Since it has a validity period of one year, I thought I would definitely visit at least 5 times,

which makes it 18,000 won per visit.

Totally worth it~!!

As soon as you enter, you see the women’s changing room.

The lockers are huge..

There are also shower rooms!

There are hardly any climbing gyms in Suwon with shower facilities, but

Kindi Climbing is so large that it has shower rooms, which was great!

(I would wash up at home anyway, haha)

As soon as I entered, I was amazed by the overwhelming size,

so I took a panorama photo, haha.

But it didn’t turn out very well, haha.

It seems like there are a Kilter board and a Moon board..?

I have never tried them, so I’m not sure what they are, haha.

But both types are available!!?

If you go a little further inside, there is a ROCK section, and

the cafeteria is located opposite the slab wall.

When you go climbing, drinks are a must!!

Since it’s located between Suwon Station and Lotte Mall,

there aren’t many coffee shops that I frequently use, right?!

(Like Mega Coffee or Compose Coffee..)

Maybe that’s why there is an unmanned coffee machine!

Beverages and Convenience Facilities

Of course, there is also a canned beverage vending machine.

The photo was taken during the opening, so there weren’t many drink options,

but when I visited recently, there was Monster too!!

I was worried it wouldn’t be available, so I stopped by a convenience store beforehand, but the prices were the same as at the convenience store,

so I think it’s fine to just buy and enjoy them at the climbing gym!

However, the downside is that the beverage storage areas are spaced far apart, making it hard to go get drinks often, haha.

Next to the storage area, there are also first-aid supplies, and I appreciated that there was a spray plaster!

No matter how many times I take pictures, the wall seems endless…..

In the farthest corner, there is a one-person sofa? A bean bag, I found it very comfortable..

They say the friction is terrible..

I didn’t even get to touch them, haha.

Finally, the restrooms are located right in front of the entrance.

I don’t know about the men’s restroom, haha.

Opening Event

Evidence of participating in the opening event.. haha.

The highest score among the problems was 452 points,

and I think it was a navy difficulty at that time (but looking back, it seems to be sky blue^^..)

When I visited recently, the sky blue was also super difficult.

Kindi seems too spicy, haha.

But it’s so much fun……❤
