Cafe Tears

Today, we visited Cafe Tears in Geumgok-dong, Suwon.

This is the only independent cafe I’ve settled on in the Homae-sil neighborhood, excluding large franchise cafes.

The desserts are so incredibly delicious that I often find myself craving this cafe…!!!

I visited again this time ㅎㅎ

The entrance is at the back of the building,

but you can also enter from inside the building through a back door of sorts.

It’s the door I use when I go to the restroom ㅎ

There’s also an outdoor terrace area, so it’s nice to sit outside when the weather is good!

Cafe Tears Menu

Suwon roasting Cafe Tears has many unique coffee menus.

There are many coffees with unusual names.

Every time I visit, I’m curious, so I end up trying a new coffee ㅋㅋ

It’s only natural to try the signature menu if there is one!

But now that I see it, I’m really curious about the coffee whiskey called ‘Kiss with the Devil’…

It’s even the owner’s pick?? 😍 I must try it next time ㅎ

As expected of a dessert cafe in Homae-sil, despite its small size, there were quite a few dessert options.

Of course, since it was late, I only ordered two simple items ^^ㅋ

While waiting after ordering, I took some photos ㅎ

The interior of the cafe is white, so it’s great for taking pictures in front of the full-length mirror.

Even though I went on a weekday evening, there were quite a few customers, so I couldn’t take proper photos and just snapped a few quickly ㅋ

Signature Coffee and Desserts

First, the signature coffee, Cream Mocha!!

Isn’t the visual so pretty? ㅎㅎ

I stirred it with the spoon provided and drank it. The chocolate flavor was very rich and sweet.

Highly recommended if you like chocolate with over 72% cacao! ㅋㅋ

For dessert, we had the Basque Cheesecake and the Pig Bar Rice Cake Cookie.

The Basque Cheesecake is, well, it’s just incredibly delicious…

They bring it straight from the refrigerator, and it’s so cold and moist, as if it’s slightly frozen. It’s truly amazing.

This is my number 1 must-eat dessert when I come here!!!!

If you come late, it sells out, so you can’t even get it.

I’ve genuinely told everyone around me about it, really, really.

The Pig Bar Rice Cake Cookie had the Pig Bar Crunch I like, so the cookie flavor was strong.

The chewy texture from the jam and rice cake in the middle makes it a very addictive taste 😁👍

It wasn’t dry, so it was perfect even for me, who doesn’t usually snack much.

It would be even more delicious with an iced Americano~!

For those who want to enjoy delicious desserts and coffee in Homae-sil!!
