A Visit to Paldal Mountain Cafe Slowoods

Today’s post will be very light. In early spring, I went on a outing to Haenggung-dong and visited the Paldal Mountain Cafe Slowoods with a friend. It was pretty, so I took a few pictures, but the amount of content was small, making it awkward to post, but I’m writing it anyway.

Slowoods also has outdoor seating available. The weather was too hot when I visited, so I didn’t think about sitting outside, and it wasn’t open yet either. I went straight inside.

From here on are the photos I took myself. Everything came out pretty, no matter what I photographed. It was a popular cafe, with even the bar seats filling up later. The climb up was quite difficult, and I was amazed at how everyone knew about it. 😮

There were about 7 of us, so we used the group seating. Fortunately, even though it was the weekend, there was group seating, which was nice. It happened to be a window seat with a good view.

Ordered Brunch Plate and Coffee

Four of us arrived first and each ordered coffee and a brunch plate. It might have been a bit small for four people since we were about to eat dinner, but many hadn’t eaten lunch, so we ordered it. Thanks for the meal, Ji-eun ^_^ It was a bit awkward to have side plates, forks, and knives prepared for four people. lol

It was a really pretty brunch. Is this called carrotラペ (rapé)? I tried it for the first time, and it didn’t have the distinct carrot flavor that I dislike, so it was quite good. Overall, it was good for a light meal. I also recommend it as a place for a brunch date! Of course, it would be even better if you add a light walk (hike). ㅎ

Instagrammable Space

I went without any expectations, but my Instagram story, which I posted because it was pretty, got a good response. Isn’t it really pretty? ㅎ

There was also a full-length mirror, so I took a picture. The background was pretty with the lush green plants. Since there were many people, I took it quickly, so it’s not 100% to my liking, but it’s a cafe I want to visit again!

I also met my friend’s dog, Somang, and it was a very enjoyable outing to Haenggung-dong. 👍
