On the day we went on an outing to Jamsil-dong Seokchon Lake, we had many saved restaurants and were 고민ing a lot about where to go, but since we wanted something noodle-like, we decided on Pangyo!

Fortunately, there wasn’t much of a wait, so we got in within 10 minutes. They also have Catch Table, so you can wait in advance.

The menu is roughly like this. I suddenly want to eat marinated cucumber salad…

The interior seemed very narrow, but there were quite a few tables. That said, the distance between tables was narrow.

The restroom is outside the store.

When you sit down, they give you water, side plates, and basic side dishes. You can order using the QR code attached to the table. We ordered one Youpo-myeon and one chili shrimp, but now that I think about it, we ordered very little…

We also ordered an Earl Grey highball, which seemed to pair well with the Youpo-myeon, made with oil. It perfectly cut through the greasiness of the Youpo-myeon. It was exactly the taste I like, but I wish it were a little spicier. And it was surprisingly oily lol. When I make chili oil noodles at home, it’s not this much…

And the chili shrimp! It was spicy, sour, and sweet, and the two dishes seemed to go well together. The shrimp were very plump, so they had a good chew. The portion was also surprisingly generous…

We visited Eonni Coffee, a cafe, to have dessert. We decided to come here because they had a really delicious-looking banana pudding!!

But the banana pudding was sold out to the customer right in front of me;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I was so upset because I couldn’t eat it after coming all this way for it…

Instead, I ordered a Basque cheesecake. My pout must have been obvious because they offered to give me another dessert as a service, so I quickly picked out a cookie. I don’t usually do this… Was I drunk from the highball?

They put a sticker on the coffee cup to distinguish it. Did I have decaf at the time? That must be why it was there.

Both desserts were delicious ^_^

There was a restroom inside the cafe, and I liked that the interior was pretty and clean.

Jamsil-dong Recommended for dates and outings! I think I’ll go back to Pangyo to eat again, and I’ll definitely revisit Eonni Coffee to try the banana pudding… I’ll have to come earlier next time ㅠ!
