Today’s tour starts in the afternoon, so we had a leisurely breakfast~

I managed to take a picture of the dishes I missed on the first day, haha.

There was a rooftop swimming pool, so I went for a morning swim.

There was also a gym on the same floor, but not many machines.

The operating hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM, and they close between 3-4 PM.

You can rent towels from the cafe on the 1st floor, so please refer to the photo!

Also, there was a hotel under construction in front, and once it’s completed, the ocean view from Grandis might be difficult to see?

Enjoyed swimming thoroughly.

It was nice that there was no one there in the early morning!

The sun was very hot, and the ground was scorching, so make sure to wear shoes…

For lunch, we decided to have a simple meal at KFC in the shopping center.

We ordered a chicken set, a single hamburger, and a cola.

Turns out the hamburger was a 1+1 deal, which surprised us.

Looking again, it says [free] in the details lol.

The drink with the chicken set was lemon iced tea, but it was very bland.

The soda was also bland.

It seems like the drinks at every place taste like a tiny bit of powder was added.

We took the remaining hamburger to go.

Then, we went shopping at Vinci, a famous general store in Suria Sabah!

I originally just planned to look around, but the bags were so cute and cheap…

I hesitated between two but ended up buying both….

Before the tour, I had booked a massage, so I took a selfie with my mom while waiting~

I always thought I looked exactly like my dad,

but looking at the photos, I seem to resemble my mom a lot too, haha.

We took a van to C-Spa Massage.

It was located near the No. 1 Mart we visited yesterday.

It was much better than the massage place we went to yesterday.

It was a 90-minute full-body aromatherapy massage, and it was just the right amount of firm, pleasantly painful??

The owner here is also Korean (I think),

so I think it would be good to visit for private bookings.

(I went again on the last day and highly recommend the foot massage).

After the massage, we came to Beringgis Restaurant for the sunset and firefly tour.

There’s a small jetty here, and we take a boat to get to the tour spot.

While waiting, they were selling ice cream, so we each got one.

It cost about 12 Ringgit for two.

And this place is a paradise for cats….

There were so many, but only this one came out clearly in the photo ㅜ

They are angel cats who don’t run away and love to rub against you 😭

We took a boat just a short distance out and arrived at the sunset tour location!

The river connects to the sea, and it took less than 5 minutes to get there.

However, there was a lot of trash on the beach…

Humans, I’m sorry……..

Clumped sand balls.

And selfies lol.

I took a lot of jump shots, but the beach wasn’t that pretty.

And the sunset was so beautiful…

Which focus is prettier???? 🤔

I tried eating it too lol.

So frustrating with the mini camera quality ㅜ I’ll definitely buy a pro next time…

The sky with the moon was also pink and pretty.

After the sunset tour, we returned to the restaurant.

They served a Korean-style buffet for dinner.

The kimchi here is amazing lol.

Both the cucumber and kkakdugi were so delicious..

Before the firefly tour, we played with the cheesy cat ㅎ

Due to the nature of firefly tours, they don’t appear well with too much light, so we were asked to refrain from using our phones, and I couldn’t take any photos of the fireflies.

Also, it’s not as close as shown in the pictures, and the number of fireflies wasn’t that many, so it wasn’t very bright.

Only one or two came close to the boat, but even those stopped midway ㅜ

Still, we saw a tree similar to a Christmas tree, and it was pretty with its twinkling lights.

The guide said it was a day with not many fireflies, which was a shame ㅠ

We also briefly saw a crocodile living by the river.. ㄷㄷ

Back at the hotel, had a late-night snack..

The beer was delicious.

And the guide told us that

there’s an arrow on the ceiling in each hotel room, so I checked and

it was indeed there, a small one in the corner.

It’s an Islamic country, so it indicates the direction of prayer..
