Patiya Guesthouse Review Near Jeju Airport

Jeju Island again…

The weather was so bad that after a 1-hour delay, we finally arrived in Jeju…

I was already restless and worried,

and the plane was so shaky due to the strong winds that I thought, “Am I going to die like this…?”

I didn’t plan much for this Jeju trip,

except for one thing… not to stray too far from Jeju City?

So, I ended up at Patiya Guesthouse near Jeju Airport!

It seems like they have barbecues when the weather is nice.

The lobby was unusually on the 2nd floor, but if you enter through the main entrance, it’s the 2nd floor.

Check-in is contactless, and you receive a text message around 4 PM.

Most Jeju guesthouses check in around 5-6 PM,

so it was nice that this one was at 4 PM! 👍👍

I originally planned to arrive exactly at 4 PM and relax,

but due to the delay, I arrived late and immediately washed up and rested ㅜ

I was assigned to the 4th floor and went up. There were more rooms than I expected.

I saw the parking lot while walking down the hallway, and it was huge.

It’s close to the airport, so it would be good to visit before renting a car on the first day of your trip,

or after returning it on the last day!

The room is incredibly spacious!!!! ~Waves of emotion~

Patiya Guesthouse is uniquely affiliated with a hotel,

so you can use the Jeju Airport Hotel instead of uncomfortable dormitory rooms, which is a plus…!

It felt a bit like a business hotel.

There are also many mirrors lol

There were 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator, and a closet that also served as the bathroom door lol

This hotel even has a bidet.

As expected, hotel bathrooms are the best…..

It has many advantages compared to a regular guesthouse…

I like parties, but I also like sleeping alone.

The shower booth is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash!!!

And another thing I liked lol

There was a disposable shower towel…

Washing with just body wash doesn’t feel clean,

but they know what they’re doing here 😎

There’s a TV too.

After a refreshing shower, I rested until party time.

I watched “Extreme Job” on OCN for a bit before leaving lol

At party time, I went down to the 1st floor and followed the lights.

It was so dark I thought I was in the wrong place,

but I was in the right place lol

(The very young-looking owner called in advance to let me know.)

When I arrived at the party venue, the atmosphere was completely different.

How is this a hotel guesthouse!?!?

They provide one bottle of alcohol per person, and you can choose between soju and beer.

The side dishes were bulgogi, corn mayo, tofu with kimchi, and fish cake soup.

And later, they also serve 화채 (hwachae – Korean fruit punch).

The corn mayo and fish cake soup were really delicious ㅎ

I ate dinner at the airport, so I couldn’t eat much ㅜㅜ

While everyone was mingling, a staff member would organize games,

and they would give prizes for team games.

I get too excited when it’s a song quiz game, it’s a big problem!

The grip strength game is the most memorable…

I thought I would win first place, but alas 흑

Also, each person receives 2 game chips, which can be used to buy food or drinks ㅋ

If you don’t want to travel far for a party guesthouse in Jeju,

how about Patiya near the airport? ㅋ

It was so much fun that I went for a second round.
