Jeju Seongsan Barangsui Guesthouse: The Perfect Harmony of Small Parties and Ocean Views<\/h2>\n

My first guesthouse experience during my trip to Jeju Island was at Barangsui Guesthouse, located in Seongsan.<\/p>\n

I wanted a party guesthouse, but I was hesitant about overly crowded large-scale parties, so I visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation.<\/p>\n

(If you contact them in advance, they can also pick you up from a nearby bus stop!)<\/p>\n

This is the 1st-floor space with the counter. I received my room key here and went up. When I arrived in the late afternoon, the party preparations were in full swing.<\/p>\n

Spacious and Comfortable Dormitory Room<\/h3>\n

The 6-person dormitory room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious. Moreover, since I was the only one using it, I could stay more comfortably. It seemed other guests were using the twin rooms.<\/p>\n

The bathroom, located right next to the entrance, was also spacious, which was satisfactory. The hot water worked well, making it convenient.<\/p>\n

Each bed is equipped with a pillow, blanket, and one towel. Since it was winter, the air in the room was a bit chilly. However, because it was spacious and empty, warm air didn’t circulate quickly. I was able to get an electric blanket from the staff. If you feel cold, try asking for one!<\/p>\n

Perhaps because it was a female-only room, a full-length mirror and a vanity mirror were provided, which I found to be a thoughtful touch. However, there was only one hairdryer, so while it was convenient for me to use alone, it might require some waiting if multiple people need to use it.<\/p>\n

Satisfying Party Food and Atmosphere<\/h3>\n

When I went down for the first party session, delicious food was already prepared. I had never been to a black pork restaurant in Jeju Island before, but the barbecue provided here was truly the best. It was properly grilled barbecue, not boiled pork, which made it even more satisfying. Also, the mantis shrimp, which I tried for the first time, was much fresher than what I had elsewhere. You can trust the party food at Barangsui Guesthouse; it was more delicious than I expected.<\/p>\n

After the first party ended, I took a short break on a sofa in a corner of the first floor while waiting for the second party.<\/p>\n

For the second party, simple snacks like shaved ice, bananas, chips, and marshmallows for roasting were provided. Well-roasted marshmallows were a special treat.<\/p>\n

Another guest ordered additional snacks, making the experience even richer.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the owner and staff of Barangsui, I had a wonderful time throughout the party. Above all, I was more satisfied because it was a small-scale party, which is what I wanted. While large-scale party photos seemed overwhelming, this place had about 15 people, and even fewer because it was a weekday. I highly recommend this place to those who want to enjoy a party but don’t want to be drained of energy.<\/p>\n

Finally, I concluded my Jeju memories by enjoying the beautiful morning ocean view.<\/p>\n
