And being an experienced long-haul flyer, I can now manage my in-flight meals somewhat \u314e\u314e<\/p>\n

After about 12 hours of flight, we arrived at Budapest<\/a> Ferenc Liszt International Airport and headed to Budapest<\/a> our accommodation!<\/p>\n

You could buy bus tickets at the bus ticket machine in front of the airport terminal. The left one is a vending machine where you can get your ticket.<\/p>\n

It was my first time buying a ticket, so I struggled a lot.<\/p>\n

Some vending machines don’t accept cards, so check before you start purchasing.<\/p>\n

When paying by card, it takes quite a long time, and you have to enter your PIN on the card payment screen.<\/p>\n

Not knowing the tip above, I kept wondering why the payment wasn’t going through… and ended up pressing the buttons on the very slow vending machine 4-5 times, which was very confusing right after arriving \u314e.<\/p>\n

Got off at the bus stop near our accommodation and took a photo!<\/p>\n

I was in such a hurry to catch the bus at the airport that I couldn’t properly feel the European air, but I finally got to take a picture in front of the bus stop \u314e\u314e.<\/p>\n

St. Stephen’s Basilica was very close to our accommodation!<\/p>\n

Although we arrived late at night, we went for a walk because we were sad, and the lights were beautifully lit.<\/p>\n

It felt even prettier when seen from afar through the alleys \ud83e\udd70<\/p>\n

The next morning, we had nurungji (scorched rice) and stir-fried kimchi.<\/p>\n

The view from the scary railing looked even scarier in the daylight.<\/p>\n

The first tourist destination we visited was Vajdahunyad Castle.<\/p>\n

We took the M1 subway to get there, and since we bought a time-based travel card through an app, we didn’t need to punch it separately!<\/p>\n

The time-based ticket is super convenient \u314e\u314e.<\/p>\n

The scenery on the way from Sz\u00e9chenyi Station to Vajdahunyad Castle!<\/p>\n

It’s famous for being the motif for Dracula’s castle, but the lake was dry, so there wasn’t much to see…<\/p>\n

Maybe it’s because we didn’t tour the inside of the castle \u314e\u314e.<\/p>\n

The castle entrance fee was about 10,000 won per person, and I wondered if it was really worth it~~~~~? Also, we had a lot of other things planned for the day, so we didn’t go in.<\/p>\n

After looking around, we passed by Heroes’ Square on our way back to the station.<\/p>\n

By the way, it was Hungary<\/a> National Day (Revolutionary Memorial Day) that day, and all museums and art museums were free to enter.<\/p>\n

We were going to visit the Budapest<\/a> Art Museum right in front, but we gave up after seeing the extremely long line…<\/p>\n

I think you need to come early in the morning to avoid long queues..<\/p>\n

On the way to New York Cafe, we were solicited by a friendly staff member and went into a restaurant. Most restaurants open at 12 PM, so there were few open…<\/p>\n

We gave up on the art museum and visited the Hungary<\/a> National Museum instead!<\/p>\n

There was also a very long line here, but we managed to get in without waiting long by standing in line smartly.<\/p>\n

For your reference, you cannot take off your outerwear when entering! (You have to leave it in a locker or wear it the whole time).<\/p>\n

There was so much to see that you could easily spend 3 hours here.<\/p>\n

I took a lot of photos, but I’m only posting a few that I liked.<\/p>\n

I especially liked the clothing and room decoration exhibits \u314e\u314e.<\/p>\n

It was about a 30-minute walk from New York Cafe to our accommodation, so we walked.<\/p>\n

My legs were already tired from walking so much, but… I was still fully immersed in the travel mood, so I could endure it \u314e.<\/p>\n

We saw street food and visited souvenir shops!<\/p>\n

After resting at the accommodation, we got ready to go out for dinner!<\/p>\n

It was still cold, so I grabbed the scarf my mom packed \ud83e\udd29.<\/p>\n

For dinner, we ate at a first-floor restaurant with a direct view of St. Stephen’s Basilica.<\/p>\n

Every time we passed by, it was crowded, and the Google reviews were good, so we decided to go! We were satisfied with the restaurant because we had steak lol.<\/p>\n

Wow, I always avoided Ferris wheels because they’re scary, but this was my first time riding one, and it was indeed terrifying;;;;;<\/p>\n

The wind was blowing, and when we reached the very top and it started shaking, I thought my soul was leaving my body \u3137\u3137\u3137\u3137.<\/p>\n

We originally planned to walk, but since we overexerted ourselves during the day, we took the bus…<\/p>\n

It was a very tiring day, but coming here was the best decision!<\/p>\n

The night view is said to be so beautiful, but it really can’t be captured in photos.<\/p>\n

Next time, I’ll definitely not buy an iPhone mini… \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n
