75 Years of Tradition at Yeontan Halmae Kkomjang-eo: A Special Experience at Busan<\/a> Jagalchi Market<\/a><\/h2>\n

The day I first tried kkomjang-eo, 75 Years of Tradition Yeontan Halmae Kkomjang-eo was a place my friends and I chose to visit during our Busan<\/a> trip, drawn in by the claim of being 75 years old. However, at the time of my visit, the signboard had been updated to 78 years, while Naver still listed it as 75 years, which could cause confusion when searching.<\/p>\n

The interior of the restaurant was already packed with people, so I couldn’t take proper photos of the inside.<\/p>\n

Since there were many of us, we received two plates of each of the basic side dishes. We ordered the half-and-half kkomjang-eo and added nakji tangtang-i. The nakji tangtang-i was particularly delicious.<\/p>\n

First Kkomjang-eo Experience Review<\/h3>\n

The spicy marinated grilled kkomjang-eo that came out first looked similar to dakbal (chicken feet), but the marinade made it less unappetizing. However, due to the direct grilling, it had a strong burnt flavor and felt chewier than dakbal. My first kkomjang-eo experience wasn’t quite what I had expected.<\/p>\n

Next was the salt-grilled kkomjang-eo. Personally, I preferred the spicy marinated version. The salt-grilled one tasted a bit bland, so I ended up mixing it with the spicy marinated kkomjang-eo. While it wasn’t as delicious as I had hoped, the texture itself was good. Since this was my first experience, I’d like to try kkomjang-eo at a different restaurant next time to form a better judgment.<\/p>\n

The additionally ordered nakji tangtang-i was a very satisfying dish for me, as I’ve enjoyed live octopus since I was young. The tangtang-i served as a basic side dish was also good, but it disappeared quickly due to the number of people, so we ordered more. The ingredients seemed fresh overall.<\/p>\n

It’s still difficult to determine if this dish suits my taste or if this place is a hidden gem. I will need to evaluate more carefully on my next visit and revise this post.<\/p>\n
