Today, by chance, I, Chaechae, came all the way to Gangnam for a hangover cure…<\/p>\n

I was craving galbitang so much that I searched and found a place called Jeongmi Kkakdugi near Sinnonhyeon Station<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The restaurant’s name is a side dish, not a menu item?<\/p>\n

And they serve kkakdugi?<\/p>\n

I came because it seemed like it would be delicious no matter what. lol<\/p>\n

The dining area wasn’t spacious, but there were quite a few tables.<\/p>\n

There were also seolleongtang dishes and quite a few bar-style dishes on the menu.<\/p>\n

I ordered galbitang, and it was 16,000 won, seriously?<\/p>\n

Gangnam prices are indeed crazy…<\/p>\n

Napa cabbage kimchi, kkakdugi, stir-fried fish cakes.<\/p>\n

And they gave us tongs and scissors.<\/p>\n

I guess they gave them to us to help separate the meat from the ribs.<\/p>\n

The portion of rice was quite generous.<\/p>\n

I came for a hangover cure, so I couldn’t finish it all… haha<\/p>\n

And first of all, the kimchi looks great!<\/p>\n

It’s a visual that calls for a sip of broth followed by a bite of kkakdugi.<\/p>\n

I like the taste of pepper, so I add quite a lot, to the point where my friends would be surprised.<\/p>\n

They might think I added too much by mistake. lol<\/p>\n

The ribs were so tenderly boiled that they came right off the bone without needing scissors.<\/p>\n

Thanks to that, they came off easily without straining my grip.<\/p>\n

I cut them into bite-sized pieces with scissors.<\/p>\n

As expected from a place named Jeongmi Kkakdugi, I refilled the kkakdugi several times…<\/p>\n

Eating the spicy galbitang broth, enhanced with plenty of pepper, with the sweet and sour kkakdugi was a 200% hangover cure, wouldn’t you say? lol<\/p>\n

The only downside is the price, but it’s Gangnam, and it’s galbitang, so… I’ll overlook it.<\/p>\n

If it hadn’t tasted good, I wouldn’t have forgiven it!<\/p>\n
