Waiting for the Donan bus from Noboribetsu to Sapporo Station
This bus was also booked in advance from Korea.
(How to book Donan bus is in Day 1 record)
The bus stop is right after passing Noboribetsu Seven-Eleven and going down.
The bus arrived almost exactly at the departure time, so I was anxious because it hadn’t arrived 5 minutes before.
A staff member came out on time and called out people going to Sapporo Station / others.
It was convenient to board because they separated us!
Breakfast was a simple snack bought from Seven-Eleven.
(Originally, I thought about having hotel breakfast,
but it was not possible without prior reservation, so I couldn’t eat it. Boo hoo)

(That bus is just a local bus, not the Donan bus)
I took a picture because the bus stop waiting room was somehow pretty.
Is this travel sentiment? lol
A refreshing background that looks like it could be in a youth drama!!
Looking out the window, I saw something like an artificial waterfall among the trees!

Met a goblin again on the way to Sapporo Station.
It was funny to keep running into people wearing goblin masks while sightseeing in Noboribetsu.

Arrived at Sapporo Station after about an hour and a half to two hours of driving!

Arrived at the Richmond Hotel near Exit 22 of Sapporo Station.
There are two Richmond Hotels in this area: Odori / Sapporo Ekimae.
We plan to stay for 2 consecutive nights at Sapporo Ekimae.
There was a Korean person at the front desk when we arrived, which was very convenient.
Since it was too early to check in, we just left our luggage.

Took a photo in front of a vending machine on the way to lunch. ㅎㅎ

Visited Suage4, a famous soup curry restaurant in Miredo shopping mall.
It wasn’t far from the hotel.
It’s Suage4 Miredo Branch, not Suage+!!
However, the restaurants on the first floor, not just Suage, had long lines,
so I thought they were all delicious restaurants…

Even though it opened at 11 AM, there was already a line before 11:30 AM.
They say locals line up to eat here…
There were definitely many locals.
We waited about 30 minutes before going in.

Melon Soda / Yubari Melon Lassi
I think I last had Melon Soda in high school at Mos Burger in Myeongdong.
It felt like the first time in a while.
It was delicious even after a long time.
Since it’s a curry restaurant, they also had lassi, and it was definitely delicious because it was expensive. lol

We both ordered green curry, and it was incredibly delicious.
Based on Korean reviews saying level 5 is less spicy than Shin Ramyun,
my sister ordered level 5, and I ordered level 6.
But it was good that I ordered level 6; it was perfectly spicy.
I ate level 6 first and then tasted level 5, and they say this is very spicy?
Level 6 was just slightly spicy towards the end of eating.
The soup is so addictive.
I understood why many people eat it as a hangover cure.
And for rice, I recommend cheese rice.

We got a cup of coffee to go from the Starbucks next door
and headed to Odori Park!

We walked for about 10 minutes and arrived at Odori Park, where we could see the clock tower.
Every time I see SAPP_RO in the back on the street,
it reminds me of I SEOUL U, so it’s funny. 😂

Hokkaido(?) corn, which has the same variety as sweet corn…
It really tastes like sweet corn.
We ordered half grilled and half steamed, and it was really sweet and delicious.

An idol who debuted recently in Hokkaido.
I saw it on the way to Odori Station, so I thought it was a debut stage…? I was looking at it,
and the manager told me it was a newly debuted Hokkaido idol,
and said ‘홍보 좀 해주세요옹~’, with an accent that made me think they were a master of Korean.
The song was also quite catchy, so my sister and I kept humming it. lol

On the way to Maruyama Zoo.
We took the Tozai Line subway and got off at Maruyama Koen Station, then walked for about 15 minutes.
Odori Station – Maruyama Koen Station: 210 yen per adult!

The weather was very cool, 20.9 degrees Celsius.
However, the sunlight was strong, so a hat or sunglasses are essential.
It’s very cool in the shade.
But if you’re not in the shade, you might wonder if it’s really 21 degrees…

Admission fee: 800 yen per adult.
We were waiting in line at the ticket booth, then quickly bought tickets from the empty kiosk next to it.
Did I over-edit? My pores are all gone, and I look so radiant. lol

The Nhật Bản monkeys are so cute.
On the first day, I thought of MapleStory when I saw the sulfur hot spring,
and I thought of it again when I saw the Nhật Bản monkeys. They look like sulfur monkeys.

The seals are so cute, but I couldn’t take good pictures.
I have videos, but I’m too lazy to edit them, so I’ll pass. lol

The red pandas are incredibly small and cute.

Walked a lot and got tired.
It was so fortunate that I could take the subway sitting down.
The subway here always seems to be spacious.
But why are my sister’s eyes so lively?

We returned to the hotel and checked in.
Unlike the Noboribetsu hotel, this one is prepaid.
We received our room assignment and key card at the front desk,
and then prepaid with the key card at the kiosk next to the elevator.
We decided to rest for a bit before going out because we were so tired.

We came to Ramu, a yakiniku restaurant famous for its lamb dishes in Sapporo.
It’s a popular Korean restaurant, but there were quite a few locals too.
It’s in Susukino, so it was about a 20-30 minute walk from our accommodation,
so we probably took a bus or subway…
The zoo was too exhausting.
We rested and then arrived around 6:40 PM.
We got a number ticket and waited for about 40 minutes before going in.

There was a building across the street with police tape around it…
What is that?
That area looks like a red-light district…
🤔

It’s a small restaurant with only two tables and a few counter seats.
We were lucky to get a spacious table seat.
Since it’s a popular restaurant, they explained that there’s a 1-hour time limit for dining.

The menu is well-written in Korean.
Please check the prices based on 20230702. lol

Yes, I understand!

It’s really delicious.
Lamb shoulder loin 1 / Lamb 1 / Lamb chop 1 / Mutton 1
And onion 1, bean sprouts 1, rice 1
(Beer is always consumed, so omitted lol)
Lamb chops were the most delicious.
Mutton means a grown sheep, not a young one, according to the translator.
So it was mostly lean meat; you can eat it according to your preference!
I ordered it because I didn’t know what it was, and it was delicious.
For reference, the meat portions are not very large, so you’ll need to order quite a bit to feel full.
Fortunately, my sister and I don’t have huge appetites, so the bill wasn’t that high.
An average couple would likely spend over 7,000 yen.

After eating, we visited Round1, famous for its crane games and arcade games, to help with digestion.
The crane game shops in Nhật Bản seem to be on another level…

Luckily, I got a Kirby plushie in 2 tries. (1,800 won!)
I felt like I had a lot of beginner’s luck that day.

I played a round of Super Mario Kart and then headed back to the accommodation.
Why is an arcade building 4 stories tall?
As someone who never plays crane games, it was a surprisingly satisfying visit.
Nikka-san on the Susukino street.
If Osaka has Glico-san, then Sapporo has Nikka-san.

We walked back to our accommodation.
Because we were full.
We stopped by Lawson on the way and bought some snacks.
It was more delicious than the dango I ate the day before!
Is it Lawson after all?
