A Must-Visit Pork Soup Spot in Busan

Hello! Today I want to share a pork soup restaurant I visited while traveling in Busan!

I didn’t look it up beforehand; I just wandered around Seomyeon looking for a place to eat pork soup when I stumbled upon the pork soup alley.

It was crowded, so I decided to pick Suyeong Bonka Pork Soup! ><ㅋ

I ordered pork soup!!

I was curious about the boiled pork rice but chose a hearty soup since it was morning~

Comfortable Space

The table spacing wasn’t cramped, which was nice!

There were also separate tables for groups inside.

Even at an early hour, this place was packed, so it’s definitely a pork soup hotspot!

Side Dishes

Before the soup arrives, they served side dishes, rice, and thin noodles.

There isn’t much, but it looks bountiful.

Self-Refill

If any side dishes run low, you can refill from the self-service bar.

Of course, take only what you can eat!!

A good pork soup place is known for its tasty kimchi.

I really like radish kimchi, so I think I refilled it twice, haha.

Pork Soup Presentation

Look at all the hearty ingredients!

I think there’s more meat than rice when you mix it in, haha.

I also added the veggies that came with it to the soup!

But as I stirred the soup, it kept getting redder.

I guess the spicy sauce was already in it.

I prefer a white broth, so I was a little surprised, but it didn’t seem to be too much, thank goodness (I’d cut ties with someone who put kimchi juice in my soup🤣).

If you’re like me and dislike it, just mention it when you order, and they’ll probably leave it out!

It seems like there are many people who eat like me, haha.

I usually find it too hot and dislike a mix of rice and meat, so I tend to fish out everything before eating.

By choosing the right fatty parts, I often find myself full before I finish eating…

In that case, I don’t even have to eat the dry lean meat, haha.

While we were ordering and waiting for our meal, there were constantly customers coming in.

I ate at a rather awkward time for lunch, but it seemed like both tourists and locals were frequenting the place.

Plus, there was no pork smell at all, so I really enjoyed my meal.

I definitely recommend Suyeong Bonka Pork Soup for a warm, hearty soup!
