Baekya Dining Lounge
I was looking for a small gathering place and found Baekya Dining Lounge in Jeongja.
Since it’s a company gathering, we had to eat something delicious!! < This thought dominated my brain.
After searching, I instantly decided to make a reservation at a place called dining lounge, haha.
It was nice that same-day reservations were accepted.

We arrived around 6 PM and there weren’t many people.
It was quite spacious and clean!!!

The water was great, haha.
A bar that serves delicious water is the best, right?

This was a complimentary side dish, kind of like wasabi mayo with crab stick?
It’s addictively delicious..
At first, there was only one staff member, so the side dishes came out a bit late, but
we snacked on this to fill our hunger.. it was so tasty that we asked for a refill, haha.

Clam stir-fry
This was a menu chosen by directors who don’t eat a lot of snacks.
The clams were quite big, adding a nice chewy texture.
There was a decent amount too, haha.
The buttery aroma was great, and it was salty enough to be perfect with drinks.

Chicken neck stir-fry
I ordered this menu because I wanted to eat yurinchi from Yong Yong’s.
Since the first stop was an izakaya, we needed something to fill us up..
It was indeed delicious, and the cabbage and onion underneath gave it a nice kick.
The veggies soaked in sauce were really good,ㅠ

This was a menu we ordered to need some broth while drinking..
Haha, you can make excuses for anything, right?
If you eat motsunabe at places that don’t do it well, it’s too greasy and rich, so I don’t usually order it, but it was okay here.
The overall quality of the food seems quite good.

What is this..?
I couldn’t figure it out by looking at the menu..?
Was this something they served as a compliment..?
It seems the menu on Naver Place is not updated,
but the chicken wings had a somewhat sour taste, which wasn’t exactly my style,
but the onions next to it were absolutely delicious, haha.
I think I also asked for more of that onion..

This also wasn’t listed on the menu,
it was something like mentaiko..
As expected, it tasted familiar, but it was neatly presented with the cucumber peel cleaned off,
which made it feel a bit more upscale.

Futomaki!! It was nice that we could get half a roll as well.
Of course, we ordered a full roll.
This came out the latest, and I was really looking forward to it, but it was just okay.

Lastly, we had bulgogi and stir-fried bean sprouts.
I don’t know how we ate so much with four people..
We were so full.
This is a very common menu, so I’m sure everyone knows what it tastes like, but the portion was really generous.
Even though it’s called a dining lounge, I didn’t expect it to be so fancy; it just felt like a decent izakaya.
The side dishes were reasonably priced, but the taste was at least above average.
Since the portions were generous, it was really great.
I came for a company gathering, but I would definitely recommend it as a date spot too!
The futomaki was especially delicious, and I want to go eat it again!
