My first post after an exciting trip is a club review
When will I post about my travels? Hehe;;
Prater Dome Visit Review
During this trip, I visited the largest club located in Vienna, Austria.
Here begins my review of Prater Dome!!!!!
※ All pricing information is as of March 24, 2024 ※
First of all, as you may have already found out, Prater Dome is located inside an amusement park called Prater.
The above pictures show the amusement park entrance and the club entrance.
Prater Dome opens at 10 PM, and when I arrived just in time, there was a line! (Open for business only on Fridays and Saturdays)
I went with my mother and was a bit worried that it might be only young people, but among the clubbers who were already lined up, there were older men and even some grandfathers, so I felt relieved. Haha.
After entering through the entrance, you pay the admission fee at the counter (14 euros per person).
The above picture shows the receipt and card received after entry. A bit further inside is the luggage storage area.
We didn’t have anything to store, so I don’t know how much it costs. Haha.
After passing the storage area, you enter a bar and tables right in front.
This is like the central hall where there are no music stages, and it feels like a resting area where you can sit anywhere freely.
I hesitated to sit, thinking it might be a reserved seat. Haha.
Although the club opened at 10 PM, the music stage opened at 10:30 PM, so everyone was enjoying a drink at the bar and taking their time!
Prater Dome is a non-smoking club, but there are vending machines for cigarettes.
A designated smoking area terrace is available, as shown in the pictures below.
I also went to the restroom, and I was surprised that in one stall, the toilet was in the same room as another… Haha.
The women’s restroom was quite spacious and clean.
This might be because it was just opening! Haha.
In a corner inside the central hall, they sell some simple food, so you can fill your stomach as well..
I ordered my favorite cocktail, the White Russian, and my mother ordered the cocktail of the day, the Blue Lady gin.
There wasn’t a separate cocktail menu, so I hesitated a bit, but they made it right away after I mentioned the names of the cocktails I like.
It seems they can make almost any cocktail you mention?
Using a similar machine, they also showed the cocktail prices (22 euros for the two drinks combined, which appears to be 11 euros each).
When you receive the entry card, they ask if you want to give a tip, and you can choose how much to give by tapping it directly.
I spent a total of 25 euros, including a 3 euros tip.
Our Cocktails
We sat down anywhere and had a drink 😎
After the stage opened, I hurried around to take photos before it got crowded.
On the first floor, there are two stages where disco-like songs are played.
It felt like a mix of disco and old disco, haha.
At the blue stage, a DJ comes to mix live when the time comes (as shown in the pictures below).
This is the designated smoking area terrace, which is also on the second floor.
On the second floor is the hip-hop stage.
This place had the most young people, and I liked the music here the most! Haha.
If you go up the stairs on the right as soon as you enter, you’ll find it, and any stairs will connect, so it’s easy to find!
While taking pictures around, a clubber asked me to take a picture together.
I took a picture with my basic camera, fearing a foreigner would be surprised, but I regretted it! Haha.
This is the DJ time I mentioned earlier.
Since the DJ, music, and events change each time, it would be good to check the Prater Dome website before visiting!

You can also make table reservations on the website. The few tables I checked were between 140 to 1200 euros.
There might be cheaper or more expensive tables that I didn’t check, though!
I shot a few videos, but I was a bit sad because there weren’t many people when I was playing around.
Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun, and I regret not going another day.
If you visit, go on a Friday to soak in the atmosphere, and if you enjoy it, come back on Saturday for more…
Since I had to manage my energy before my flight, I left right before midnight, but it was still enjoyable.
I only saw one group of Koreans, but since I saw them when I was leaving, I’m not sure how busy it gets during peak times!
