A Review of the Party Guesthouse Barangshi in Seongsan, Jeju Island!

This was my first guesthouse during my trip to Jeju Island!

It’s the Barangsi Guesthouse located in Seongsan.

I wanted to go to a party guesthouse, but I didn’t want a large, bustling crowd.

I came here after a recommendation from a friend!

(If you contact them in advance, you can get picked up at the nearby bus stop!)

This is the first floor, where the counter is located.

I received my room key here and went up!

I arrived after 5 PM, and they were preparing for the party.

I stayed in a six-person dormitory, which was surprisingly spacious.

Actually, I was the only one in the six-person dormitory, haha!

I guess everyone else went to the twin rooms…

Right next to the entrance is the bathroom, which was quite spacious!

Hot water came out well, hehe.

Each bed had a pillow, blanket, and one towel prepared!

Since it was winter, the air in the room was quite cold.

Because the room was spacious and I was alone, it took a while for it to warm up, sigh.

I later asked the staff and got an electric blanket 😎👍

If you’re cold, make sure to request one!

Since it was a women-only room, I felt the effort put into the full-length mirror and the makeup mirror.

The downside was that there was only one hairdryer!

I was fine using it alone, but it felt lonely, haha~ 😂

I’ve been to Jeju several times but have never been to a black pig restaurant.

However, the barbecue they gave here was truly amazing.

It wasn’t boiled pork but grilled barbecue, and I was so satisfied.

And I tried sweet shrimp for the first time here; comparing it with others, this was really fresh!

After trying it here, I ate sweet shrimp at a different pub and it had a fishy smell.

The party food at Barangsi Guesthouse is genuinely trustworthy.

I honestly didn’t expect much from party food, but it was the best I’ve ever had!

There was a sofa in a corner on the first floor, so I relaxed there, hehe.

Since everyone had filled their bellies, the second party served simple snacks like shaved ice, bananas, snacks, and roasted marshmallows!

If you roast them well and peel the skin, they taste delicious, hehe.

Another guest ordered more snacks for us…

The owner and the staff at Barangsi were so much fun, and we had a great time during the party.

Most importantly, it was the small-scale party I wanted, so I was very satisfied.

From the party photos of other guesthouses, it looks like there are at least 100 people; pictures from crazy parties are overwhelming.

I didn’t want to go to a party that drains my energy.

I highly recommend this place for those who want to party without being overwhelmed.

When I went, there were about 15 people, but it was a weekday, so I think it was a bit less!
