Western Mediterranean Cruise 9 nights 11 days trip, 10-11th day
Breakfast at the Genoa hotel!
The pancakes were totally my style!
And why are the peaches so delicious here?!!!
Vascello Neptune
Porto antico, Molo Ponte Calvi, 16124 Genoa GE, Italy
Haha, I’m losing motivation for taking pictures…
I could have explored the inside of the ship, but I skipped it due to schedule!
Palazzo San Giorgio
Palazzo San Giorgio, 2, 16126 Genoa GE, Italy
Palazzo San Giorgio, the first public palace of Genoa.
It was located right in front of the ferry terminal, so it was quite surprising.
It was early in the morning, so the streets were empty. Hehe.
Genoa Cathedral
Piazza S. Lorenzo, 16123 Genoa GE, Italy
Genoa is famous for focaccia…
It is commonly eaten for breakfast.
This is the type of bread that is moist and not dry, making it delicious.
I usually don’t like bread, but I always end up having at least one at breakfast or hotel buffet, haha.
A handmade chessboard I really wanted…
It was too expensive and would have been hard to carry, so I passed! 😭
Due to the large temperature difference, many people had colds, and
we also bought some medicine from a pharmacy (which was quite effective, they said).
It cost about 13 euros? It was much more expensive than in Korea.
Ferrari Square
Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari, 16121 Genoa GE, Italy
Enjoying the fountain at Ferrari Square!
It was raining lightly, so I was opening and folding my umbrella like crazy…
The sushi place behind it was quite eye-catching.
Wu Taiyo
Viale Daniele Ranzoni, 6, 20149 Milan MI, Italy
The last lunch was at a Japanese restaurant.
(Not the one behind Ferrari Square, though. 😃)
Since my mom doesn’t like salmon, I ate it all. Hehehehe.
The dressing had a bit of a soy sauce base and was salty.
I also ate 2 servings of salmon. Hehehehe.
(So I was really full that day.)
This was a bit salty for me.
I ate only one piece of tempura to taste it because I had eaten too much salmon, haha.
The tempura was just average in taste.
The food kept coming…
The last dessert was watermelon, and it was quite sweet and tasty.
After lunch, we were about to move when we saw a puppy throwing a tantrum in front of the toy store. Hahaha.
It was really cute! Hahaha.
Scala
Via Filodrammatici, 2, 20121 Milan MI, Italy
The famous opera house in Milan!
The third picture was from a restaurant next to it, I think. Haha.
Scala Restaurant
Ristorante Teatro alla Scala il Foyer
Largo Antonio Ghiringhelli, 1, Via Filodrammatici, 2, 20121 Milan MI, Italy
It was really hot and I was thirsty, so I went into the café right next to it.
They seemed to sell bread or other food too… (payment was after)
I usually don’t drink caramel macchiato, but for some reason, I wanted to try it that day.
It was just perfectly sweet and so delicious…
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
P.za del Duomo, 20123 Milan MI, Italy
This is the Galleria in Milan…?
There were overwhelmingly many people…
Since it was all luxury shops, I didn’t go in. Hehe.
Duomo Square
P.za del Duomo, Milan MI, Italy
This place was really crowded.
Is it just that Milan is full of people…?
All the pictures taken here look cute, so I included many of them. Hehe.
I bought some souvenirs.
I got to spend at Zara in Milan, which I was looking forward to!
This pizza place looked super delicious!!!!
But I was too full to eat. 😭
Scala Square
Piazza della Scala, 5, 20121 Milan MI, Italy
At Scala Square, which was our meeting point,
there’s a monument to Leonardo da Vinci!
I had gelato one more time before leaving, but why don’t I have a picture? 😭
On the way back, I got wrapped gimbap from a gimbap shop in Milan, haha.
It was surprisingly tasty. Hehe.
We finally arrived at the airport……..
I was so sad… just as I started to adjust… Hu hu hu hu.
My suitcase got scratched on the way…
Unfortunately, this won’t be compensated, they said, hehe.
I brought a 20-inch suitcase for a 9-night trip, so I ended up buying souvenirs…
How did I manage it… seriously…
My first trip to Europe was on a cruise, so now I have my expectations set high…
Next time, I have to go on a world cruise!
