Sapporo 5-Night, 6-Day Trip Day 4 Record: Karaksa Hotel, Toriton, Sapporo Beer Museum, Factory, 100 Yen Shop, Nomihoudai, Ai-you
There was an arcade, so we took a sticker photo~
Japanese sticker photos really make your eyes look extremely big haha.
I thought I looked fine while taking the photo, but my eyes got ridiculously large.
But it seemed like there were separate game coins,
and I mistakenly thought the coin exchange machine was for regular coins, so I put in a 1000 yen bill, and I ended up with a strange 100 coins;;; I asked the staff, but communication was a bit difficult, and they had to step away for a moment.
However, there was a notice that said if you make a mistake in exchanging coins, there is no refund.;
But it seemed that the staff was trying hard to help, so I made sure to put on a pitiful face to really express how badly I wanted to take the sticker photo, and thankfully, I was able to get a refund in yen ㅠㅠ.
Everyone, be sure to check the coin exchange machines carefully…
On the way back to the hotel,
I snacked on some Pure White corn that I had bought the day before.
I was so tired that I just sat on any bench and ate it, but it was really delicious…
It was just the essence of sweet corn!!!
After resting a bit, we decided to go for dinner!
Karaksas Hotel Onsen Information
- You need to bring your own special clothing and towels.
- There is a special bag (eco bag) to carry your necessities, such as skincare products.
- Single-use skincare products (like cleansing foam) can be picked up for free at the hotel lobby on the first floor.
- There is a drink vending machine in the lounge, and the bottled milk is really delicious, probably around 110 yen (ice cream is free).
Sumibi Izakaya
I was planning on going to Sumibi Izakaya, famous for its all-you-can-drink, but they only accept reservations, so I had to give up.
But I felt a bit?? slightly??? unfriendly over there???
Maybe a bit disappointed???? 👎
We looked for another all-you-can-drink place, seriously searching in the middle of Susukino area.
Eventually, we found our way to Aiyo Izakaya!
Since Japanese pubs allow smoking, I was a bit worried, but this all-you-can-drink place that we hurriedly searched for turned out to be quite decent!
They had a separate Korean menu, and you could order directly from your phone using a QR code.
We ordered the all-you-can-drink option, which included a beer and a variety of highballs, and I found that there were so many delicious highballs to choose from…
We probably didn’t even need to include beer, haha.
We also ordered several side dishes, and the portions were just right, so we could enjoy a variety!
Even though we rushed over, Aiyo Izakaya ended up being a delightful experience and I highly recommend it!
