Visit Experience
I visited because I heard there’s an unlimited Yangdaechang restaurant near Suwon Station!
Originally, it was a temporary event held last December, but it became popular, so they plan to continue it!
Of course, individual orders are also available!
Entrance Event
There was another event at the entrance.
If the number written on the bottle cap matches the lucky number, you get a service!
I was too lazy to check, but I should have at least looked at the number!
Arrival Time
I arrived a little before 8 PM on a weekday.
Fortunately, there was one table left, so I was able to eat without waiting!
From what I read from others’ comments, some waited about 30 minutes around 6:30 PM.
And I was really lucky because just after I entered, several other groups arrived!
Table and Prices
The tables are super spacious for large groups!
The unlimited option is 33,000 won per adult, but
since individual orders would yield more,
it’s better to go for the unlimited option!
Service Soybean Paste Stew
This is the service soybean paste stew.
It’s quite a lot, so it feels like you could finish two bowls of rice with it!
Basic Side Dishes
Basic side dishes include fresh vegetables, pickled vegetables, and onion salad.
Today’s Star
And here comes the star of the day!
They give quite a bit right from the start.
Types of Meat
First, I started with unmarinated ribeye and sirloin.
Personally, I found the sirloin tastier!
Grilling Method
You can grill it directly over the charcoal like this.
The ribeye has a nice chewy texture, while the sirloin melts softly!
Service Steamed Egg
While eating, they served steamed eggs!
It’s super moist and fluffy, so it just slides down!
Thanks to that, I burned the roof of my mouth!
Starting the Yangdaechang
After finishing the fresh meat, I started on the Yangdaechang!
For the innards, the staff grills the first plate for you.
It’s all-you-can-eat, but the service is great!
Innards Dish
Like a Dementor, the exhaust fan sucks in the smoke…
The staff first served me the heart, but when I saw the color, I wondered if it was too raw…
Since I’m sensitive to the metallic smell, I was a bit startled, but
it turned out to be the tastiest heart I’ve ever had!
I don’t like it when it’s overcooked and tough, but this was grilled perfectly moist.
Conclusion
I ordered another plate of Yangdaechang, but
since they served so much from the start, I was extremely full!
And as I ate more, the unique metallic smell of the innards became stronger,
so I couldn’t eat too much more.
I thought to myself that next time I should eat more fresh meat!
But then I thought, if that’s the case, maybe it’s better to just go to a beef all-you-can-eat place…
I just thought that! Haha.
Personally, I prefer stone plates over charcoal, so I might hesitate to revisit,
but if you love innards, this place is definitely worth a visit!
