Today’s recommended restaurant is Sodamsongha, a beef rib restaurant located in Chuncheon!

Searching for Sodamsongha brings up a total of 4 locations.

This particular one operates as a cafe as well, named Sodamsongha&The 9 peak.

And checking Naver Place, it seems there’s no break time on weekends. ㅎㅎ

They also had cotton candy ice cream available.

You can go up the stairs to the right of the entrance to reach the cafe.

When we visited, it was full, so we had to wait for a bit.

Even at a rather awkward time like 4:30 PM, it was crowded…

The cafe owner was very kind, offering us warm water to drink while we waited.

It was cold that day, so we were very grateful!

There’s also an outdoor terrace area, so on nice days, you can enjoy your drinks in a spacious setting.

When it was our turn, we were seated. The white marble tables were very pretty.

Charcoal was brought first, and orders are placed via the tablet on each table.

Surprisingly, you can also order cafe menu items from the same table. ㄷㄷ

We ordered draft Blanc beer, Kirin, and Fanta Pineapple ><ㅋ

We ordered 1kg of beef ribs.

The meat was served piled up like a mountain ㅋㅋ

Among the side dishes, the muk-ssam (jelly soup) was especially delicious.

Its refreshing and cool taste was excellent, stimulating the appetite and cutting through the richness of the beef ribs, making it the best 👍

We also added the doenjang somyeon (soybean paste noodles)!!!

I still can’t forget the amazing taste of doenjang somyeon I had for the first time…

So, here too, I ordered doenjang somyeon instead of doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) ㅎㅎ

However, unfortunately, it seemed like the noodles were cooked separately and added, rather than being simmered together with the soybean paste, so the soybean paste flavor didn’t fully infuse, and it tasted quite floury 😭

But after some time, as the noodles absorbed the soybean paste broth, it became delicious again. ㅋ

The beef ribs are grilling deliciously…

It was truly a melt-in-your-mouth, 감동 (moving) taste…

It’s been so long since I’ve had beef ㅎ

You all know that controlling the heat is the most important part of grilling beef, right?!!

Eating it while it’s still tender, before the juices run out, is pure heaven 🤟😜

We also had the bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed noodles) to finish it off.

It looked so delicious that I quickly mixed it, so I couldn’t take a picture of its initial state lol.

Even though I couldn’t take a picture, it was so delicious that we ate it in a hurry.

It’s exactly the delicious grilled meat restaurant bibim naengmyeon you’d imagine 👍

Chuncheon Sodamsongha&The 9 peak has a lot of family customers.

There are many spacious seating areas, making it great for group visits.

You can also get coffee and dessert all in one place, making it perfect for families to enjoy at a leisurely pace ㅎㅎ
